Philippines’ Death Penalty – An Overdue Discourse

Perhaps it’s all the arguments I hear whe crossing the hallway. Maybe I merely blow up when I’m fed up. But here we are. Excuse me if I go off on tangents.

The death penalty was approved on its third and final reading in the House of Representatives on Tuesday, March 8th, 2017.

As far as I know, many rejoiced. Change has come. Crime will abate. We will be safer. We will be secure.

But the death penalty is not just a punishment.

Many say it’s for the greater good.
